BREAKING NEWS! Vince Siemer has been released! The High Court has agreed to a ‘conditional’ release (unprecedented) – means the High Court has ‘trumped’ the Supreme Court!

23 July 2010

1) Fellow ‘Public Watchdog’ on judicial corruption, Vince Siemer was released before 5pm today.

(Check out Vince’s website to see why many Judges and the Solicitor-General, David Collins QC – want to close him and his website down.)

Theoretically Vince is not in compliance, because there is still info up on which Crown Law claims breaches the ‘gagging’ injunction.

(Remember – Vince was DEBARRED from defending himself in the defamation case, and was ordered to pay $920,000 costs to Stiassny).

The Supreme Court order was very clear that Vince had to be in compliance before he could be released – but the High Court has released him ‘conditionally’ – (because he’s ‘tried’ to be compliant.)

So – High Court trumps Supreme Court!

What that says to me is there has been significant political pressure at 30,000 feet, thanks to the growing understanding and awareness growing in the ‘court of public opinion’.

2) I met Rodney Hide today, and formally requested him to make a complaint to the Speaker of the House against the Solicitor-General for ‘triggering’ the misleading the Justice and Electoral Select Committee so that they arrived at a ‘subjudice’ decision, in dealing with Petition 2005/142, at a time it was not.

“The Justice and Electoral Select Committee has considered the
Petition 2005/142 of Penelope Bright and 30 others, requesting that
Parliament conduct an inquiry into the committal for imprisonment of
Mr Vincent Siemer for contempt of court.

Standing Orders provide rules against committees considering matters
that are subjudice (awaiting adjudication in a court of record), and
this means that we are unable to consider this petition further.

We have no matters to bring to the attention of the House.”

This would be a complaint against the Solicitor-General for ‘Contempt of the House’.

Rodney Hide has agreed to discuss this matter with Lockwood Smith.

(There was also a Parliamentary ‘cover-up’ over this matter, with key documents relating to this petition not being in the Petition 2005/142 file.)

  1. Well done Penny!!

I have only discovered your site over last two days.

I did not have any success sending emails to Lockwood Smith
asking him to help Vince from 2nd July, either at his Parliament address, (three to there were returned approx 4 days after I sent them saying: Undeliverable. The reason for the problem: 5.4.7 – Delivery expired (message too old) ‘timeout’). And his address I was given by his receptionist at his Rodney office to send an email to him there, came back undeliverable. – This user does not have a account.
So I had to ring his receptionist again, and ask for his Rodney fax number, and sent him a Fax! I have not had any reply from him!!
